On the right is the history of the Chows, who were once a royal dynasty that lasted 800 years, ending in 249 B.C. They became commoners after the fall of the dynasty, and after one of the emperor's concubines, Lady Su, fell out of favor, the Chows and other families were forced into fleeing into the Pearl River Delta.
