We hope you are planning and getting excited about our upcoming Leong Family Reunion planned for Friday, July 1st to Monday, July 4th, 2005.
By taking advantage of this three day holiday weekend, we will be able to more leisurely enjoy each other's company during this awesome family event!
This year we will be staying at the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park, just south of Santa Rosa and just minutes from the Sonoma wine region.
The reservation can be made by calling the hotel directly at 707-584-5466 or by email at www.dtsonoma.com. All you have to remember is to
indicate the date of your stay and the three letter "leo" group/convention code. We have reserved 35 rooms at the awesome "Leong Special" rate of $93 per night.
If you wish to extend your stay, the same rate will apply two days before and after the reunion. Also, for those of you who do not want to rent a car and will
be flying into Oakland or San Francisco airports, a shuttle is available by contacting www.airportexpressinc.com for schedules and rates.
We will begin our weekend with our "get together" reception on Friday night while we wait for all to arrive. We will provide hors d'oeuvres,
drinks and dessert, followed by our nightly arts and crafts sessions. Remember, the reception is also a good place to pick-up all the final
reunion information; including schedule of events, bus list and departure times. We will also keep the family website current.
Early Saturday morning we will be touring Safari West, (www.safariwest.com) a 400-acre animal preserve where we will be riding in open-aired
jeeps, connecting intimately with those magnificent creatures of the wild. Don't forget to bring a hat, plenty of sun-block and your camera!
Afterwards we will partake in Safari West's buffet lunch and mingle among the smaller caged animals. We will then return to the hotel for relaxation,
swimming and maybe some lawn games before being chauffeured to our special gourmet dinner at a local restaurant.
On Sunday, we have planned a private wine tasting tour of a local winery. This tour is limited to the first fifty adults who contact
Jennifer at jenadd@bigfoot.com for reservations. The remainder of the family will participate in a catered picnic lunch, flag football,
soccer, basketball and other "team" games. Afterwards, we will all meet to have a festive dinner at a local restaurant.
We have reserved 12 spots for those who wish to play golf early Monday morning. We will be at the beautiful 36-hole Foxtail golf course

but, if it's from Costco it's gotta be good! Finally, to close our weekend, we will have our family photo session before our typical sumptuous
Sunday brunch on Monday!
