Orientation and “socializing” ( 4:00pm to midnight)
Optional: For those who love Jazz, the hotel's weekly Summer Jazz Festival is featuring Lee Ritenour beginning at 7:45 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. in the amphitheater. Tickets - $37.50 per person – contact hotel for info. Tickets may be purchased that day at the hotel (space available) .
Continental Breakfast 7:30 - 10:00 a.m, Garden Room #3.
Newport Harbor Lunch Cruise on John Wayne’s private boat “Wild Goose” 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Charter bus leaves the Hyatt at 11:00 a.m. and returns to pick up the 2nd group about 11:45 a.m.
Return to Hotel
from lunch cruise between 3:30 and 4:30 pm.
Remainder of afternoon for leisure activities before poolside dinner at
7:00 p.m. (leisure activities include shopping at nearby
Poolside Dinner 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Bayside Swimming Pool - (bottom tier of the main building)
(If enough sign ups, there will be “glo-ball” golf on the hotel’s par 3 executive course at 10:00 p.m. However, there have been no response so far, and the deadline is July 16th. Email wdumbauld@hotmail.com ASAP
Evening Socializing & Snacks - 10:00 p.m. – Midnight in the event room (Garden Room #3)
7:00 a.m. - For early risers, tennis is available at the swanky private tennis club adjacent to the hotel for a price of $10 per person. (So far, no one has expressed an interest in playing tennis). I would think that some of you tennis buffs would want to take advantage of this deal. Please E-mail wdumbauld@hotmail.com ASAP so that we can notify the tennis club.

Champagne Brunch Honoring Auntie Amy on her 90th Birthday, hosted by Karen, Ronald, & JoJo
After the champagne brunch, Garden Room #1 will remain available until 3:30 pm for the family socializing.
