Bethel College thanks Auntie Ann for the Chow family contribution
|
With the help and encouragement of Auntie Ann, the Chow family contributed to a new dormitory on the Bethel College Campus.
Auntie Ann was the only member of our family to make it back to Tennesee for the dedication, so when Renaissance, a choral
group from Bethel College came to San Francisco, they chose that opportunity to present Auntie Ann with a plaque thanking
her and our family for the contribution
Renaissance travelled all over the US, making whistle stops in many cities in a very short time, and were in San Francisco
at the Grace Fellowship Community Church, on May 15th, 2005
The Cumberland church, was instrumental in our history, having established a missionary in San Francisco and providing Chow King Leong
a place to learn english. He later became a convert to Christianity and member of the congregation. When Auntie Ann was seeking a college
to attend, she chose, Bethel College, which started life as a Cumberland Seminary.
